Granada
Granada is a wonderful city. In the center you can do almost everything on foot.
We advise you not to enter the center of the city with the car.
The Albaicín is the part of Granada with the longest history. The hill is a maze of narrow streets and blind alleys typical of Spanish Arab towns. It is easy to wander aimlessly and enjoy many little features on the way.
The proud Alhambra is widely regarded as one of the most superb architectural monuments of the late Middle Ages. At the same time an unique example of arabic art in the western world.
It will be too much to write down here the whole story of the Alhambra. Important is that you will need at least 3 hours to see it all. Some parts can be visited without a ticket, but for the highlights you have to pay. There are daily 6600 tickets available. It is recommendable to reserve tickets a long time ahead.
Each ticket tells you the time for entering the “Palacio Nazaros”, once inside, you can stay as long as you like.
But watch out! When you are too late you won’t be able to enter.
