GR-7 hiking track

The GR 7/E4 (Long Distance Footpath) passes almost directly by our Casa. In Spain these Walking routes are called “Gran Recorridos”, short GR. The GR-7/E4 runs from Tarifa in the South of Spain to Greece.

The part that leads through the Alpujarras is the most known part of the GR-7. It leads from Lanjaron to the Puerto de la Ragua and follows the beautiful white villages.

The path is in generally well marked (red/white), only in the villages is it sometimes a bit difficult to find the connection.

You could for example, in about 2 hours, from Mecina Bombarón following the GR 7, walk to the neigbouring villages of Berchules or Yegen.

When at the end of the walk you are enjoying your drink with (free) tapas and you dont feel like walking back, you could call us and we will drive you back to the house.
